Mr. Naresh Chandra

Mr. Naresh Chandra is a post-graduate Mathematics alumnus of Allahabad University. He was Chief Secretary in the State of Rajasthan, Commonwealth Secretariat Adviser on Export Industrialization and Policy; Adviser to Governor of Jammu & Kashmir; and successively Secretary to the Ministries of Water Resources, Defense, Interior and Justice in the Federal Indian Government. He was Cabinet Secretary from 1990 to 1992 and was appointed Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister of India from 1992 to 1995. Mr. Chandra was thereafter appointed Governor of State of Gujarat. He then became Ambassador of India to the United States from 1996 to 2001. Mr. Chandra has functioned as Chairman of the Committee on Corporate Governance set up by the Union Ministry of Finance and Company Affairs in 2002. In July 2003, he was appointed to head a committee to prepare a roadmap for the Indian Civil Aviation sector. He is currently on the boards of various companies, including Tata Consultancy Services Limited, Bajaj Auto Ltd., Balrampur Chini Mills Limited, Hindustan Motors Limited, and Electrosteel Castings Limited.


Mr. Ravi K. Sinha

Mr. Ravi K. Sinha is a Chancellor’s Medalist in Mechanical Engineering from Agra University and has a post graduate diploma in Marketing and Sales Management from Delhi University. He is a business leader and management professional with a successful track record of turn-around, new business launches, building market leadership, negotiating international treaties, organization capability building, mergers & acquisitions etc. Under his leadership one of the main divisions of SRF Limited went on to win the coveted Deming Prize.

He is currently on the board of PVR Pictures Ltd. and Gabriel India Ltd. He was a director on the board of Ace Refractories Limited He is advisor and mentor to CEOs/senior executives of several companies such as Anand Group, ICICI Venture Management Company Ltd., PVR Ltd., Shalimar Paints Ltd., Jindal Stainless Ltd., and Art d’inox.

He was also a member on various committees of CII. Since late 2003 he has been running a boutique management consultancy firm, Ravi Sinha and Associates, to coach CEOs, senior executives, young business, family members, and rising stars on personal development, strategy formulation and team building.


Mr. Rajan Pandhare


Rajan has been involved in building software services businesses across Europe, USA and India. He was also the Director of B2B Ventures with a large oil and gas company, Head of Sales, Marketing and Product for a leading Business Process Outsourcing Company in Europe, Deputy Chief Operating Officer and Country Director of India & Cambodia for President Clinton's HIV/AIDS Initiative (www.clintonfoundation.org ). Rajan is also the director of Imperial Innovations India www.imperialinnovations.co.uk (a joint venture of Imperial College UK for India) engaged in commercialization of intellectual property, and Board Member of The Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (www.ciff.org)  a leading foundation focused on addressing the educational, health, and water and sanitation needs of the children.  Rajan is also the Chairman and Co-Founder of Kalpan Hydro (www.kalpanhydro.com) , a triple bottom line business that is aggregating run of the river hydro power projects.
 



Mr. TVG Krishnamurthy

Mr. TVG Krishnamurthy qualified his Electrical Engineering from IIT Madras and received his post graduate diploma in Management from IIM Ahmedabad. He is a top management professional with more than 40 years of global experience working with Indian, Chinese and MNC companies across Asia. He has worked with Grindwell Norton, India, and Kalbe Pharma and Cadbury, India, and was on the Board of SRF Ltd, India. He is also a mentor to a number of very interesting start-ups in technology, both IT and bio-technology. At present, apart from being on the Board of EVI, TVG is also associated with Rangdsons electronics, Indegene and Life-spring. TVG is very well known for his skills in mentoring innovative and dynamic start-ups and is very well networked with technologists as well as funds operating in Bangalore (the Silicon Valley of India) and the U.S.

 

 

 

Mr. Satish Mandhana

 

Satish has over 26 years of private equity, corporate finance and business strategy experience. He was earlier a Director of CDC Advisors (now Actis) where he was involved in many important investments and exits during his association of more than 6 years. Deals included CDC-led privatisation of Punjab Tractor, which won the Acquisitions Monthly Emerging Market Deal of the Year Award for 2003. As CFO and Head of Business Strategy at JK Paper for over two years, he restructured a USD 210 million balance sheet and raised USD 177 million of funds from various sources, including private equity from Goldman Sachs and IFC. As head of Investment Banking at SRF Finance (a part of GE Capital since 1997 ) he set up the Structured Finance, Corporate Stock Broking, Investment Banking and Private Equity practice of the company and led the company in the areas of securitisation, advisory, investments, underwriting and issue management. Prior to joining the financial sector in 1992, he worked with SRF and Eicher, where he was responsible for assessing and creating new businesses. He is a member of the Planning Commission’s Working Group on Power. Satish received an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University, and a BE in Industrial Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee.
