EVI is a network of professionals with Expertise in Clean Development Mechanism, Technology and Finance. We are promoted by one of the largest Private equity in India, IDFC Private Equity. EVI is currently working on a number of projects for GHG Emission Reduction under CDM and VER.
- We work across a number of sectors such as renewable energy (bio-mass, hydro, wind), waste to energy, prevention of gases such as methane, HFC- 23, N2O, PFC, Energy Efficiency, Waste Heat Recovery, Plantation etc. We manage a portfolio of 140+ million Carbon credits. The insights gathered across Industries, coupled with our expertise in implementing a number of associated technologies helps us identify VER opportunities better as well as structure project concepts which have strong additionality as per CDM/VER rules.
- EVI has network partners who are Experts for CDM methodologies- this helps us develop Project Design Documents (PDDs) with better articulation of baseline and additionality logic. We design PDDs with reviews by high quality experts to maximize value for carbon assets for our clients.
- EVI is working with some of the biggest buyers for VERs. We deliver the best value for VERs to our clients owing to our strong buying-selling network. The market is rapidly evolving with appearance of forward contracts, options, derivatives, and securitization. Because of financial expertise, we can structure deals for a forward contract for part VERs sale, minimizing the downward risks for the VER prices.
