Mr. Jatin Kapoor (Emergent Ventures India), shared his views at the 3rd ‘India and Sustainability Standards: International Dialogues and Conference 2016 ‘ organized by Centre for Responsible Business’s (CRB) at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The conference aimed to bring together various international and Indian companies, global sustainability standards, development partners and key stakeholders across sectors. Aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals, the conference will provided a powerful platform and opportunity for dialogue and conversations between businesses, standards and stakeholders.
Mr. Kapoor represented Emergent Ventures India (EVI) as a panelist for the session on Sustainable Infrastructure co-hosted by GIZ. He spoke about Green bonds as a financial instrument to promote sustainable infrastructure, focusing on the Indian perspective. EVI has been campaigning for Green Bonds since 2013 as a key instrument to finance/re-finance clean energy projects in India. EVI is also an accredited Verifiers of Green Bonds, under the Climate Bonds Standards
