Revising Nomenclature for Carbon Markets In Form of INDC (Intended Nationally Determined Contributions) and COP 20- Peru: Expectations and Ground Realities.
With less than two months to spare for UNFCCC Conference of Parties 20, it is still blurred and ambiguous what would be the potential role of the carbon markets and how it is going to look like in a future agreement or even if carbon markets will be mentioned in the document or receive any sort of acknowledgement.
If Carbon Markets wants to exist in this contemporary set-up of UNFCCC melting pot, individual countries must put forward their individual favourable consent while keeping in mind that carbon markets indeed worked in last two decades.
